Veteran Entrepreneur, Adventurer, U.S. Army trained, Athlete of 42 marathons, duathlons, triathlons, MTB and Road; IM Triathlete in training; Conservationist, Labour advocate; Productivity Expert-Breakthrough Specialist and "Active" Participant of Life.

Gabrielle Bourne “lives without limits” and has turned plenty of adversity into opportunity. For the past 22 years, she has traveled the globe in search of adventure whether serving on the transitions team for Eco-Challenge in remote places of British Columbia, Morocco, Australia and New Zealand; training runs through the Grand Canyon and Santa Monica Mountains; mountain biking in Moab or; serving in war torn areas of Afghanistan and Iraq, Gabrielle practices what she preaches.

Retired in 2005, Gabrielle brings the same level of adventure and commitment to working with businesses and individuals in transition, as counselor and strategic leadership; creating opportunities such as the SMART Women Programs and; working on projects and events to help "drive that machine" forward.

Executive Summary

Achievement drives Gabrielle and she has received numerous accolades and recognition including the Army Achievement Medal, the Overseas Service Ribbon, Volunteer Effort Medal (United Nations) and Service Merit Award for Board Excellence from the American Heart Association where she served as an active Board member and Consultant for six (6) years. She was recommended to Officer Candidacy School (OCS) by her AIT Commander at Ft. Bragg North Carolina, where she graduated on the Commandant’s List (top 1% of her graduating class). She entered University at 16 years and completed her first marathon majors that same year. Gabrielle graduated with honours from University 4 years later with acceptance from Graduate schools NYU Business and UCLA Law.

Gabrielle's "ultimate" gift to any organization is her unique ability to "trend" and "forecast." She has trained and schooled with visionaries Joel Barker and Peter Drucker; attends technology symposiums and conferences such as Comdex, TED and CES since her late teens and; enjoys sharing the knowledge, i.e. Berkshire Hathaway shareholder meetings with her staff.

Gabrielle got her start in technology and carved out a significant living in real estate development and land use. Gabrielle has consistently pushed the envelop in technology innovation for her team and has embraced and integrated many of the innovative processes for the whole Enterprise, including going "virtual," fuel cell, wind and solar energy, social media, community gardens and ultimately "going paperless" in 2009. The Enterprise gradually implemented cloud technology since 2007.

Gabrielle has been quoted in the LA Business Journal, LA Times and New Times; profiled on KoreAm Magazine, Southern Exposure and; has appeared on NBC, KXLU and KIIS FM, in addition to regular guest appearances on WRPB and BlogTalk Radio. Gabrielle has written several columns on technology innovations for the Santa Monica Argonaut and business and marketing strategies for the Santa Monica Business Journal.
